What is an inbound marketing strategy?

WHAT IS AN
INBOUND MARKETING

ESTRATEGY

?

CPC | The Glocal Agency

June 16, 2021

The goal of Inbound Marketing is to find those people who are looking for what your business has to offer, making your content easy to find. Inbound Marketing helps identify a problem and present your product or service as the solution.

“In this blog we will explain
how get your own portfolio of clients.

While traditional marketing uses invasive techniques, interrupting users with unsolicited information, inbound marketing seeks to attract by delivering valuable content naturally.

Connecting people in a genuine way with what your business has to offer is not an easy task. The content you provide to your audience should be educational, entertaining, and well-received by consumers, influencing their purchasing decisions and their feelings towards the brand.

The best part? Inbound Marketing consists mainly of organic leads, so it is essential to have an attractive strategy, here we show you 5 phases to start creating your plan:

  • 1

Attract - How will we get their attention?
This first phase attempts to attract traffic to a website to obtain information about the user and segment it according to their needs. The fundamental method is content creation; consumers and search engines are getting smarter, constantly creating and publishing applicable content will turn traffic into actual leads.
  • 2

Convert - Why do you want to leave us your contact details?
If your content is successful, the user will want more; this is the right time to capture and build your databases. You can offer more content to the customer through a landing page and contact forms in exchange for their details (name and email). While it is true that the more information you have, the greater your sales possibilities, it is not prudent to ask the user for a lot of data at this first stage.
  • 3

Network - Are you interested in knowing more about us?
Not all potential customers that you have managed to attract will be ready for the decision to purchase your product or service. Depending on the leads’ phase, you can implement strategies to advance the purchase process, such as promotional e-mails through a landing page and contact forms or newsletters.
  • 4

Closing - Do you want to purchase the service?
Now that you have the data, you must organize the information and integrate it into a CRM (Customer relationship management) or an automation system that allows users to be classified according to the purchasing possibilities, determining the type of content or advice you can provide. Although this type of application makes the task much more manageable, the process can also be done manually.
  • 5

Analyze - How effective are we in the process?
It is necessary to monitor your results to make improvements. If your content or strategy is not working as expected, you should try something new.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month – September 2020

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

September 2020

From this September 15th through October 15th, Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated in the United States; this is an opportunity to learn a little more about our culture and discover what unites us as Latinos.
We are incredibly proud to be Latinos, contribute to the United States, and work every day to help more Latinos create their own story.

As latinos, we want to share stories that inspire. Characters that have taken Hispanic Heritage to another level, and data to support this movement through social media.

This celebration, which was initially Hispanic Heritage Week, began in 1968 but became a 30-day event to make the most of it.

What is the impact of Hispanic Heritage in the United States?

Hispanic Heritage Month recognized a community’s work contributing to America’s history, culture, and achievements. And the truth is that this should be appreciated every day. However, this month is the perfect opportunity to give it more visibility and attract more people who want to discover the wonderful and diverse of our culture, achievements, and customs.

Food, music, literature, art, and audiovisual productions are just some of the significant contributions that Hispanic culture has maintained for decades and have adapted to American society. This surprising diversity has influenced the biggest brands in this country.

For example, it is common to find restaurants that include tacos on their menu, or bars where salsa and reggaeton are played, Latin and Spanish actors in Hollywood movies, and advertising campaigns that use Spanish words. There are film categories and music awards essential to highlight the work exclusively of Latinos.

In addition to the fact that Latinos are becoming a powerful economic force as an exciting market in the consumption of products and services in the United States, Stanford found that Latino companies contributed about $500 billion to annual sales.

A 2019 Congressional report based on 2017 data found that nearly 60 million Latinos in the United States already represent $2.3 billion in total economic activity, which alone would rank as the eighth largest economy in the world.

Latino companies in recent years have employed more than 3 million people, according to the State of Latino Entrepreneurship 2019 report of the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative (SLEI).

How to take advantage of social media to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month?

One of the first actions is to share resources on social networks that seem relevant to us about this event and explore accounts highlighting Hispanics’ work in the United States; here are 3 Instagram profiles great in their content:

@thehispanicstar: It is a project that aims to educate both the Hispanic community and the non-Hispanic community about the perception of our culture, using people from the artistic field who are recognized and play the role of ambassadors of the project.

@aintilatina: It is an account that highlights the experiences and raises the voices of Afro-Latina women.

@aigaunidos: It’s a collaboration that creates a space to empower and celebrate the lives, work, and needs of creatives with Hispanic and Latino cultural Heritage.

Social media can also spread and support Latino entrepreneurship to support small business owners to have a more digital context presence.

What characters have influenced your work to give recognition to the Hispanic Heritage month?

Over time, not only artists but also activists have joined together to provide further recognition to the Hispanic Heritage in the United States, here we leave you one:

Sylvia Mendez is a civil rights activist, was one of the first Latino women to attend a school, breaking the school segregation model of the time (1945).

Learn how CPC Global Group works for the Latino community in the United States.

Now more than ever, let’s celebrate the pride of being Latino!

Let us unite to make known our strength, our culture. We must talk about our successes, our businesses, and how proud we are of the Latino heritage that gives us a Twist that no other culture has.

Steps to Plan a Successful Virtual Event in 2021

Steps to Plan

a Successful Virtual Event in 2021.

February 1, 2021

The revolution of virtual fairs in 2020 begins to respond to the need to continue doing these events without generating crowds or physical contact.

While many events were canceled or postponed by the pandemic, many others managed to avoid cancellation and perform their events differently, in this case, virtual.

The chaos brought out the best of the creativity to make these samples. The virtual experience in a fair has online guests, personalized stands, acquisition of contacts, catalogs that can be downloaded, and chat with guests, among many other particularities that show your business differently.

Follow these steps to make your 2021 virtual event a success:

Set Goals and objectives:

Before you start planning your event, keep in mind who the audience is and what you want to achieve with it; for example, if your goal is to add new contacts to your database, getting many records should be a fundamental part of your strategy.

Automate as much as you can:

This can save time and money, plus it will help you get better results. Emails can be scheduled beforehand, and social media ads and chatbots can interact with prospects both during registration and at the event. Helping users find content, answering questions, and filling simply.

Engage the audience during the event:

Try to keep the audience’s attention during the event according to the topics covered, for example, live surveys, quizzes, real-time integration with social media, links to YouTube videos about your brand that allow you to have more reach.

Promote the event on an omnichannel basis:

Your promotional strategy can include email marketing, organic and paid publications on social media.

In 2020, the New Jersey Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in union with CPC Global Group, managed to hold the Hispanic Virtual Business Fair; the main objective was to narrow the digital divide for small and medium businesses in New Jersey #HelpCommerceNJ initiative. This also drove the community to make a difference by interacting on social media with the different parts of the event.

This experience, full of learning and positive results, counted with the training of all exhibitors for the correct use of the virtual platform:

The numbers

Stats

The importance of events like this shows that canceling them because they cannot be done in person is not the only option; you can reach through digital platforms. Small and medium businesses will appreciate the opportunity to live an experience like this.

June 8, 2020

New York and New Jersey have already started their economic reopening. At CPC Agency, we are sure that the business models and marketing plans that businesses had for 2020 are already part of history.

THE BRANDS THAT BELIEVE THAT LIFE CONTINUES BEING LIKE IT WAS BEFORE, CAST THE FIRST STONE

The forced changes in consumer habits today show us a different reality, the dancing queen was and will be for a long time digital and its technological tools used creatively. The brands that lost in this isolation were the ones that resisted the change and, without a doubt, those who would be better off, are the ones that changed their mentality and continue to build on everything learned in this quarantine.

HOW READY IS YOUR BRAND "TO REOPEN "?

At the COVID-19 Business Strategy Open Forum, Rebecca Heidepriem – Certified Business Coach, shared with us how to answer the question of many entrepreneurs: Is my business ready to reopen? She has described 9 nine categories that business leaders should consider. We want to explain one by one of those steps and tell you how CPC Agency can help you achieve them.

1. TECHNOLOGY

If you’ve been working remotely during quarantine, you’re likely familiar with tools that can help you do business, like Basecamp, Trello, and Zoom. Collaboration technology can help your team, and your customers feel engaged, no matter where they are.

If you return to the office, you should also consider the technology required for security measures. Do you need to take the temperature? Contact tracking? Create a plan that details how employees will work remotely and/or in-person that addresses their needs and safety.

Tools like CPCvoice, will allow you to make scheduled calls to your database, remember dates, congratulate your team in a personalized way on their birthday, or even invite them to the internal reopening event to motivate them for this new stage of business. Open a direct line with them to receive their ideas and allow their sales team to sell offline but also online. We can train them in the proper use of social media channels, which will bring traffic to your e-commerce.

2. HUMAN MANAGEMENT

In addition to physical security, we must ensure that our coworkers do well emotionally. Some people will need to stay home, either because they are part of a high-risk group or because they need to care for others. How are you going to keep that employee engaged?

Training, workshops, motivational talks for your team are just some of the many alternatives that you can implement from our E-learning platform.

3. SOCIAL DISTANCE

Most of our physical business spaces are not designed to meet the recommended guidelines for social distancing. You will likely need some physical barrier to help keep employees who share desk space protected and, if possible, to separate employee desks or task.

The office space will need rigorous and regular cleaning. Stocking up on cleaning supplies and encouraging more cleaning activities will be part of managing the office. Ask your landlord about your plan to keep the space clean.

New signage, distance symbols, would be useful, under a graphic guideline that perfectly matches your Branding, using corporate colors and creative messages that will make it easier to adapt and change habits for your employees.

4. COLLABORATION

When your workforce is dispersed, how do you ensure that everyone collaborates in the same way? Some of the strategies Rebecca recommended included a morning meeting where everyone reviews their plan for the day and an activity at the end of the day, where each person is rated on their performance. It also encourages teams to start each meeting with a WIFLE, or “what I feel like expressing.”

Internal strategies of E-mail marketing, job satisfaction surveys, and trainingare ideal when keeping your collaborators on the same page. Reminding them how important they are to the company is essential, and some surprise direct mail would not hurt. All these tools may be a plan in an internal marketing strategy that we can build as a team.

5. COVID-19 BEST PRACTICES

Are there any measures you have implemented in recent weeks to accommodate the security recommendations, but have actually turned out to be great practice for your company?

Rebecca shared an example of a landscaping company that moved to staggered start times to promote social distancing. What the owner discovered was that the days started smoothly now: there were less socialization and less chaos than if everyone were out in the yard at once.

Many leaders were very reluctant to work remotely, but now they have seen that it can work. Consider how COVID-19 best practices could also help you run your business more effectively.

Creative reinvention committees are made to generate ideas in search of productivity; tools such as Design Thinking or BITT are unique methodologies to find opportunities for improvement in processes and work dynamics.

6. MARKETING

Throughout these forums, we have argued that it is especially important that small businesses continue to market to ensure consistent flow. Increase the number of blogs, videos, testimonials, and other content that adds value to your audience. Your goal is to explain how you can help during this time.

Take this opportunity to find new ways to serve your customers. Rebecca recommended incorporating “critical nonessentials,” the important things that you don’t have to do, but are critical to the business; for example, sending gifts to customers’ homes or purchasing access to online learning resources for employees with children.

Activate sales mechanisms through social media and inbound marketing, Re-engage your customers with direct physical mails, and also surprise them with new communication channels CPCVoice / Chatbots / Podcast / Newsletter / E-commerce. Show yourself a closer and more dynamic company in this economic reopening.

7. MENTALITY

While you don’t have to get out of quarantine after learning a new language, you should consider how you are learning and taking advantage of this moment. What can you do to learn, grow, and improve?

Changing your mindset and practicing more mindfulness would be a great lesson, especially for business leaders. Consider developing a mantra that you can repeat when you need a boost.

The most important thing is to find small victories and honor them. Companies don’t celebrate enough, and they should! You deserve it.

Our BTL, department can generate unique, memorable experiences from small internal activations with some technological resources or online or offline events (with appropriate protocols). We are convinced that if your team’s mentality changes quickly, the results will be reflected in an excellent performance.

8. THE FIRST 90 DAYS

You’re going to get out of this, starting a new chapter. Why not hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate?

What will those first 90 days be like for your business?

Communication is key. We can co-create a memorable internal marketing experience, mixing the DNA of your brand with the new goals and changes for this reopening. We can create something that fits what you want to communicate with your clients and collaborators. Being close again is an excellent time to turn the helm and redirect the course of the company.

9. CREATE A PLAN

This list is a good start to help you think about reopening, but you still need a plan. Use this time to outline:

  • How are you going to get new clients?
  • How are you acquiring a new business?
  • How will you protect your business and personal finances?
  • How will you handle employees and their various needs in the future?

Leaders and teams have a lot to consider right now. How do we create new business opportunities? What financial model will best fit the company and our clients? How can we protect ourselves while enjoying the benefits of human connections? These are all the questions we will have to address together in the coming weeks and months.

At CPC Agency, we are ready to create your plan. We will be able to mix offline and online media, train your team in the new post-pandemic era, open communication channels for the implementation of digital strategies, and social media inbound marketing and growth hacking. Best e-commerce practices or implementation. But first of all, we want to listen to you and be with you in this new normal.
